Something very exciting has happened and I can't wait to tell you about it.
I was interviewed by Rolling Stone. Yes, THE Rolling Stone. How cool is that!?! They called me to talk about my success as an independent musician making a living from my music. We had a long conversation about my career and my music, and I shared with them about some of my other solo piano colleagues who are also having success. After that, they interviewed my colleagues as well, and then released this incredible article talking about the solo piano world and how we are secretly having a lot of success. Well, I guess the secret is out now. I am so excited to be featured, and excited for my colleagues who are also featured, and even more excited that our small little solo piano genre is getting some big attention and exposure in a mainstream music magazine. It's a pretty big deal and I am honored, and humbled, and so very very grateful.

I love solo piano music – great for background while I work or just get ready for the day. My son is a 16 year old pianist and has played many of Michele McLaughlin’s compositions and they are always very well received.
